This course is designed to introduce basic vocabulary used in school and in students' daily conversations. Students will learn to read and write simplified Chinese characters, as well as using them to construct simple dialogues. Various projects and activities will allow students the opportunities to explore Chinese culture, festivals, cooking, and calligraphy.
