AP Physics II

  • AP Physics I (Algebra-based)

This college level course explores additional upper level topics in physics, through inquiry based learning. The topics include but are not limited to fluid statics and dynamics; thermodynamics with kinetic theory, PV diagrams and probability; electrostatics; electric circuits with capacitors; magnetic fields; electromagnetism; quantum, atomic and nuclear physics. Twenty five percent of the instructional time is based in a lab with an emphasis on inquiry based investigations. Students are strongly encouraged to take the AP Exam.
