Students will learn the basic techniques of interviewing, writing, editing, layout and design, photography, and ethical aspects of journalism. The course will entail an in-depth study of each area of journalism: yearbook, newspaper, radio and television as well as journalism as a career. Students will be expected to learn and follow AP Style in their writing as that is the style used in college and in media positions.
