• Excelled in 8th grade English
• Advanced MAPs Reading level (75th - 99th Percentile Range)

This contracted honors course follows the English I curriculum and challenges students to demonstrate reading, writing, language, speaking and listening skills beyond the grade level standards. Students who contract for honors courses have demonstrated proficiency on grade level standards and exhibit a need for extended learning opportunities.
