Shoemaker Families,
We have had a number of students who are now living to the South of Potash in the newly built duplexes. We are asking families in that area to instruct students on how to safely cross Old Potash. Please see our guidelines below and call the office if you have questions. Thanks!
Old Potash Crossing Guard
*Students needing to cross Potash from the Copper creek subdivision will continue to have a crossing guard to help and support during the morning and afternoon school start and dismissal times at the Old Potash/Cherokee drive area.
*Old Potash is a very busy road and we need parents to help monitor and assist from our new duplex area to ensure students know their options to crossing safely. Please read carefully below!
*Any students that live south of Old Potash in the new apartment duplexes should stay on the southside of the road and WALK to the Cherokee/Old Potash crossing.
*Parents may also walk their students across Potash from the duplexes to the sidewalk on the North side of Old Potash in order to walk to Shoemaker safely along that sidewalk. We really need parents from duplexes to walk students across if there is your preference to ensure safety!
