Welcome to Westridge Middle School where students explore, discover, and achieve.  The students, staff, and I are proud of the new building which opened on January 7, 2008.  The "Westridge Way" encourages students to work hard, respect others, and achieve beyond their own expectations.  Westridge is an "open enrollment" middle school, and is currently accepting sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from any attendance area for the 2009-2010 school year.  Interested families should call the school at 385-5886 to set up a time to visit and receive more information about the programs offered.  Please call the phone number listed above to receive more information.

           Westridge's Karen Hastings Honored as
                Middle School Teacher of the Year

 

Westridge's own Karen Hastings, 7th grade Social Studies teacher, was
awarded the Middle School Teacher of the Year on August 13th by the
Grand Island Education Foundation at an all-staff assembly held at Senior
High.  Everyone at Westridge is very proud of her much deserved recognition.

 

Mrs. Hastings is helping 7th grade students with a class project on early man
and cave dwelling.
