Lunch Information

Nutrition Services

The GIPS Nutrition Services Department offers healthy meals every day to help enhance learning.

Each student will have his or her own meal account, and you can deposit money into that account. You will receive either a reminder envelope or an automated phone message if your child’s lunch account is running low. *Note: Parents have the ability to make online payments into their child’s meal account. In order to do so, you will need access to the K12 Payment Center.

Your child may qualify for free and reduced meals if your household income is within the limits on the Federal Income Guidelines. Information was mailed to each GIPS household in late July.

School lunch can also be ordered for you if you let the office know by 8:30. All visitors must check-in at the office and wear a visitor’s badge

Monthly lunch menus can be found here.

However, if you would prefer a printed copy each month, please have your child stop in the school office.

Parents are welcome to join their students for lunch, but the office needs to know before 8:30. If food is brought in, we politely request that you bring a healthy lunch for your child, with no POP/SODA or energy drinks. A list of the lunch schedule will be provided below.
