Children's Choir
The purpose of this ensemble is to give students a creative outlet in which to expand their musical knowledge and skills, connect with the world through performance, and experience what it is like to sing a formal choir.
The GIPS Children's Choir is available to students in 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who attend a GIPS school and whose voice has not yet changed.
AUDITIONS FOR 2025-2026
Parents/guardians must fill out the Children's Choir Registration Form in order for their student to audition.
Auditions will take place Monday, Sept. 15, 2025 at Grand Island Senior High from 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please enter through the east entrance of GISH (the Auditorium entrance door 34) for the audition and rehearsals.
Parents will be notified if their student is placed in the choir via email by Wednesday, September 17th. If accepted, student are expected to attend all rehearsals. There is a $10 fee for the cost of t-shirts and music. The choir rehearses on Monday’s in the Grand Island Senior High Choir Room from 4:15 - 5:00 p.m.
