Precalculus Honors extends the concepts in Algebra II Honors--especially delving deeper into exponential functions, logarithmic functions, rational functions, and the conic sections. It also focuses greatly on the trigonometry of the unit circle, proving trigonometric identities, and solving trigonometric equations that require factoring. Probability, basic statistics (including standard deviation and the normal curve), parametric equations, and polar coordinates/functions are also introduced.
