Starting tomorrow (December 1st), GIPS will no longer have the “Let’s Talk” messaging portal on the district website.
Due to shrinking use of the service, GIPS has made the decision not to renew the contract with the tech vendor providing that service, so the district may be more efficient with funds.
What will the new “Contact Us” layout look like?
Contact information for building Principals, Administrative Assistants, Counselors and/or Social Workers for each school is listed on the school’s “Contact Us” page.
The district phone number and email are listed at the bottom of the www.GIPS.org homepage as they have been.
The district also has a separate “Contact Us” page with information HERE.
Families are encouraged to continue reaching out to their schools directly when needing support for school-related matters.
This will be a slight adjustment from the website experience GIPS has provided the last few years. Please know the district is 100% committed to being available and responsive to families, as well as our students, staff, and community.
GIPS still encourages folks to reach out when needing support, wishing to share good news, or are looking to connect with our staff.
