Students in the Roots and Shoots club at Barr Middle School worked toward fulfilling their mission of helping pollinators on the prairie Sept. 21. 

With the help of staff sponsor Denise Pedersen and Rachel from Earl May, students planted an apple tree and mums. They even observed butterflies on their plants!
