"We brainstormed some ways we could bring more positivity to students on an individual student level. So that's lead to us really increasing the amount of positive office referrals going on at our campus... We've had over 180 positive office referrals since the end of February!"

Mr. Nate Balcom, Newell Elementary Principal, stopped by KRGI recently to share how Newell staff and students are celebrating positivity in their school. Through an intentional Positive Office Referrals Program, students are celebrated for exhibiting responsible, safe, and collaborative behavior. The positive influence throughout the building has been contagious and wonderful to see!
