Superintendent's Holiday Card Contest winners selected

Winners have been selected for the 2016 GIPS Superintendent's Holiday Card Contest. Three winners were selected from the more than 500 entries received, one of which was chosen by Dr. Grover herself to be the design used for her official holiday card.

The winners are:

  • Briannah Kutschkau, Dodge, 5th grade (final card design winner, $50 VISA card)
  • Annabelle Hawke, GISH, 10th grade ($50 VISA card)
  • Jacquelyn Aguilar Garcia, Walnut, 6th grade ($50 VISA card)

"I would like to thank all of the students who took time to design such great cards," Dr. Grover said. "The student artwork made us smile and laugh. In a number of cases, through the artwork we gained an understanding of what our students consider when they think "better together,' and what brings them 'peace, joy and love' during the holiday season."
