Welcome

One of my favorite things to do is investing in the future of our students. If you are a student of the Grand Island Public Schools, the GIPS Foundation has been investing in you since you walked through our doors, either as a Kindergartner, or whenever you arrived. We are excited about you and your future! We want to continue our investment in you beyond graduation because we know you will make Grand Island proud.

We are pleased to bring to you the 2019 GIPS Foundation college scholarship program. We have meticulously designed an online application process that allows you to fill out one application for up to 170 different scholarships. This application represents approximately $460,000 in total scholarships. Scholarships range from $250-$220,000 each.

The application has multiple screens and represents a comprehensive file on you. While not all fields are mandatory, we recommend that you fill in as many as are applicable to you. Each field is designed with a purpose in mind. The more completely you fill out the application, the more scholarships you will be eligible for. The information on the following pages will help you to submit the best possible application.

The scholarships represented in this application are the direct result of individuals, families, businesses, and GIPS teachers and staff, who want to invest in you. On their behalf, I wish you the best!

Traci Skalberg, Executive Director
Grand Island Public Schools Foundation
