Your Partner Investing In Your Schools - GIPS Foundation Discount Card

** Fundraiser starts on January 9th and ends on January 22nd **

The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation is offering Major Saver cards for sale through participating elementary and middle schools. Students will receive the sales packets on Wednesday, January 9th and continue selling the $15 discount cards until Tuesday, January 22nd. Proceeds beyond expenses from the sale of Major Saver cards directly support the participating schools.

The 2019 participating restaurants/establishments include: Spring City Indoor Trampoline Park, Hy-Vee, Jiffy Lube, Grand Island Parks & Recreation, Kinkaider, Buffalo Wild Wings, Farmer’s Daughter Café, Sonic, Long John Silver’s, Texas Roadhouse, Pizza Hut, McKinney’s, Applebee’s, Olive Garden, Texas T-Bone Steakhouse, Big Apple Bagels, Firehouse Subs, Papa John’s, Hardee’s, Dairy Queen, and Super Bowl.

Major Saver cards can be purchased via cash, check or online at The online sale can be credited back to a particular student and school. All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer. Students can create a custom link for friends and family to share via social media or email. This link automatically credits the online sale to students when link is used to make a purchase. Major Saver cards can also be purchased, and credited to a student, through the Major Saver App. Once the free app is downloaded to an Android or iOS device, buyers can choose a Major Saver card through the “buy cards” tab on the app. Once the buyer completes the transaction the offers will be stored in the Major Saver App. Buyers can then redeem offers directly from the app and do not need a physical card.

Major Saver stresses safe selling and discourages door to door campaigning. The company encourages students to sell to family members, church patrons, neighbors, other adults the family may know; and to always make sure their parents are involved.

Please consider purchasing one or more Major Saver cards this year to help benefit of the Grand Island Public Schools Foundation and these participating schools: Dodge, Howard, Jefferson, Knickrehm, Shoemaker, Starr, Wasmer, West Lawn, Barr Middle, and Walnut Middle.
