Career Pathways Dual-Enrollment Scholarship Application is Open

The Grand Island Public Schools Foundation is pleased to offer the Career Pathways Dual Enrollment Scholarship Program. The Career Pathways Scholarship Fund was donated by local business and industry leaders to invest in the future workforce of Central Nebraska. The fund annually offers scholarships for college credit to students who are enrolled in the Career Pathways Program.

This is a competitive process. Scholarship awards are based on current grades, attendance, punctuality, and recommendations from teachers.

Who is eligible for Dual-Enrollment Scholarships?

Scholarship applications will be considered for students enrolled in a Career Pathways Program at Grand Island Senior High, Adams Street Campus, Central Community College, and any other campus served by the Career Pathways Institute.

Students must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled as a high-school student
  • Have completed the CPI admittance application
  • Be accepted and enrolled in a CPI Pathway
  • Scholarship will only pay for CPI CCC classes

NOTE:  This is a last dollar scholarship. Students should apply for all other scholarship opportunities that they qualify for, including Access College Early (ACE). This scholarship, if awarded, will generally fund the balance of the Career Pathway dual-enrollment not covered by other programs.

How to access the online application?

If you are enrolled in a CPI Pathway with Dual-Enrollment opportunities, you will receive an email containing a link to complete your online application account. This email will be sent when the scholarship application opens. This is the only way to access the application. If you have not received an email and would like to apply for a Career Pathways Dual-Enrollment Scholarship please contact the System Administrator Candi Wiemers at .
