Annual Report: ELC building a foundation

At the Early Learning Center, our dedicated staff is embracing the opportunity of positive changes and being better together. We understand we have a great responsibility to build the strongest possible foundation of learning we can for all students.

Working together for every individual child has provided inspiration throughout our building. The collaboration we see between teachers, paraeducators, parents and specialists to meet the needs of each student is bringing new strategies and ideas to life for our kids.

Our students’ ears are always listening, and we see them imitating the problem solving, sharing and kindness they see every day. Even our preschoolers understand how we are better together.

GIPS, as a district, is made up of more than 1,500 staff members across 14 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, one high school, a preschool and various alternative campuses, all dedicated to our 9,800 students.

Our focus is continuing to get our students future ready. We are doing so by being better together. We invite you to learn more about the district’s efforts in our 2015-2016 GIPS Annual Report.
