7360 – Community Instructional Resources

The Board of Education endorses the concept of the community as a resource for application and extension of knowledge and skills initiated in the classroom.  The Board of Education authorizes the administration and in­structional staff to work closely with various community groups in the identification and utilization of a wide variety of community instructional resources.

Administrators and teachers are authorized to use individuals possessing highly developed knowledge and/or skills as a resource to teacher special­ized units that may be developed to supplement the standard curriculum
