4461 – Authorization For Recognition Events


The Grand Island Public Schools authorizes the purchase of plaques, certificates of achievement, or other such items to be presented to Board members, employees, volunteers, or other honorees of the district for the purpose of recognizing meritorious service, extraordinary benefit, or other conduct identified by the Board as worthy of public acknowledgment. In the event of a recognition dinner such expenditure shall not exceed twenty-five dollars per individual.
