Five-hundred Grand Island Senior High students will soon walk across the stage as Islander graduates. This is the first graduating class to go through all four years of the Academies of Grand Island Senior High since its inception.
The Academies of Grand Island Senior High graduation ceremony will be Sunday, May 15 at 2 p.m. at the Heartland Events Center (700 E. Stolley Park Road, Grand Island, NE).
Doors open at 1 p.m. Seating can't be reserved, and we encourage graduates' parties to arrive together. There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend, and no tickets are required for admittance. The Heartland Events Center has a clear bag policy.
Students will be seated by Academy groups during commencement.
Official graduation photos will be available from Jimmy Rash Photography, who will be the event photographer.
Graduation commencement will be live streamed in both English & Spanish via the GISH Striv.
