GIPS seeks input on strategic plan

As Grand Island Public Schools prepares to launch On Track to Thrive 2025 in the fall, we are seeking input. Ten stakeholder groups have been scheduled, two specifically for the public. If neither of these times work, there will be other meetings available. For more information, please contact Jennifer Worthington at or 308-385-5900 ext. 201124.

These meetings will be via Zoom. Please complete this form to receive the Zoom link.

  • June 22, 2021 at noon
  • June 22, 2021 at 6 p.m.

On Track to Thrive 2025 combines a number of plans into one in order to be strategic with our programs and resources. A group of 50 staff and stakeholders developed an equity plan for the district, along with a Master Facility plan and a Long Range Plan for Extracurricular Excellence. This work will be the foundation for the new strategic plan. This allows us to utilize our one-time ESSER resources and all district resources in a way that has the most impact on students.

Other stakeholder groups will include Parent Advisory Council, Key Communicators, Equity Task Force, district and building leadership, teachers, classified staff, and student groups.
