GIPS to Hold Town Hall on Master Facility Planning

Grand Island Public Schools is inviting the public to participate in two Town Halls centered on master facility planning.

The first will be held on March 24, with the English version running from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and the Spanish version running from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The second will be held on April 1 and will run from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

GIPS has the responsibility to maintain its current facilities to ensure safety and a positive learning environment. The district also has the responsibility to plan ahead for future facility and programming needs. GIPS is requesting input from in four areas: preschool/elementary school, middle school, high school, and other facilities.
