Board of Education Ward C position now open; application form here

This week GIPS Board of Education member Roger Harms has announced he is resigning from the Board effective immediately.

"Mr. Harms let us know on June 18 he is resigning from his Ward C position," said Dr. Tawana Grover, GIPS Superintendent. "We thank Mr. Harms for his many years of service on our Board of Education. Combined with his time as a teacher and coach in our community, the number of students he has had an impact on is immeasurable."

Law requires GIPS to fill his vacancy in Ward C within 45 days.

Any interested applicant currently living in Ward C can apply by filling out this online form or downloading this application.

Applications are due at 5 p.m. on July 8, 2019. Individual interviews will be held July 10.
