This page is filled with resources to get you prepared for the year. We hope you are ready to rise to the occasion and help our students thrive!

GIPS Reimagined

Read the complete plan for this fall as it relates to new procedures and safety protocols due to COVID-19.

School starts

  • First day for grades K, 6 and 9 is Wednesday, August 12 (Early dismissal: 2 p.m. K, 9; 2:15 p.m. 6).
  • First day with all students, grades PreK-12, is Thursday, August 13 (Early dismissal: 2 p.m. K-5, 9-12; 2:15 p.m. 6-8).
  • Kindergarten will have no school Friday, August 14.

School supply lists

These items are recommended for purchase by parents/guardians. These supplies are not a requirement to attend school. Schools can provide individual classroom "wish lists" if patrons would like to donate supplies.

All schools open their doors by no later than 7:30 a.m.
