Second Grade Car Design

After reading the Golden Sower nominee, If I Built a Car by Chris VanDusen, the students had the opportunity to design their own car.  They used Kidspiration to plan which items they would put in their car,  including a pet, a food, a sport, a toy, something from home, and anything else they chose.  Then they drew a blueprint of their car in Appleworks Drawing.  After their blueprint was done, they copied and pasted the images of those items from Kidspiration into Appleworks.

Previously Posted Projects 

After reading the Golden Sower nominee, Library Lion, the students discussed the two main rules that Miss Meriweather enforced in the library. They then inserted a clip art image from the internet into a Pages document and typed the rule associated with that image.
