Grand Island students compete at Invention Convention

Grand Island Public Schools students participated in the annual ESU 10 Regional Invention Convention competition in Kearney on April 8.

The goal of Invention Convention is to teach students to use creative problem solving skills to invent a new product or to create an innovation to a current product.

Students from 11 schools participated in the contest. There were 54 inventions with 68 student inventors. Some students worked with partners to create their invention.
