G.Y.M. GET YOURSELF MOVINGPhysical Education classes for Newell students meet on even and/or odd days. Help your child be prepared for PE class regularly. Make sure your child has proper footwear and clothing to participate with confidence. Check with your child as to what days they have PE and MUSIC so they are properly prepared to participate.
Busy parents can help their children be active by making physical activity a part of their daily routine. Even small things make a difference! Be a role model for good fitness choices!
Parental support and approval are two of the biggest motivators for children. When you participate in activities with them, or act as an audience for their skill performance, you are reinforcing in them the value of what they are doing.
