About

It is an honor to welcome you to the Knickrehm Elementary School website. We are the home of the Cougars and are comprised of approximately 260 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our team works hard to ensure that all students receive a quality education in a safe, caring community of learners. We are very proud of the work we do each and every day to reach the Grand Island Public Schools motto of "Every Student, Every Day, a Success!"

Knickrehm Mission:

Knickrehm's school community members inspire each other to maximize students' potential as lifelong learners in an ever-changing world. Together, we provide academic foundations and positive interactions in a safe, nurturing environment, where individual differences are respected. A variety of relevant experiences lead students to become responsible, resourceful, contributing citizens who are prepared for life's transitions.
