    Remembering Veterans

Dennis Kellogg of KHAS TV spoke to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students about the Heartland Honor Flight. This trip is designed to thank World War II veterans for their service by taking them to Washington D.C. to view the sights, especially the WWII memorial. Mr. Kellogg has accompanied the veterans on the trip and reported about it for KHAS TV. He showed video reports to the students and shared his experiences.
Also attending the program was WWII vetern Mr. Dale Bieck of Trumball, Mrs. Martin’s father. He got to go on one of the Honor Flights.  The Character Council made appreciation cards to send to veterans.

    Lost and Found Box
