Elementary Paraeducators

21st Century After School Program (Subs)

 
  • To assist teachers with instructional support as needed
  • A high school diploma or GEDis required 
  • The wage is $8.11 per hour.
    Positions open until filled. 

  • Enrichment Providers

    21st Century After School Program 

  • Up to 3 hours per week as needed during the school year
    To assist Enrichment teachers with instructional support as needed 
    Possible hours are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (3:15pm - 4:00pm) and Wednesday (2:15pm - 3:00pm)(As Needed)
    A high school diploma or GED is required
    The wage is $9.01 per hour.

LPN-Paraeducator/School Nurse

Full time 7.5 hrs hours per day 7:30 am-3:30 pm (9 month position)

  • LPN or RN license required.
  • Experience working in a classroom setting as well as with students having developmental delays preferred.
  • Wage contingent on experience.
  • Position open until filled. 


Special Education Paraeducator (Subs)

Experience working with students having disabilities is desired.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Wage is $8.74.

          Transitional Living Program

                • (Full time- 9 month position 7.5 hrs per day)
                  Person chosen will be responsible for working with students in the community developing their independence.
                  Experience working with older individuals having moderate disabilities would be beneficial.
                  An Associates degree is preferred.
                  A high school diploma or GED is required.
                  Wage is $9.71 after training.
                  Position open until 5 p.m. November 24,2008.

                • (Full time- 9 month position 7.5 hrs per day)
                  Must have bilingual experience and be able to accurately translate verbal and written communications for students and parents.
                  Computer skills are preferred.
                  Wage is $10.52 after training.
                  Position open until 5 p.m. November 24,2008.

          Head Cook

          Temporary Position

                • (Full time- 8.0 hrs per day)
                  Prepare menu items for an on site and satellite cafeterias ,plan work,adjust recipes,order supplies and maintain sanitation standards.
                  Wage is $9.72 after training.
                  Position open until 5 p.m. December 1,2008

                  Painter/Maintenance Worker

                • (Full time- 12 month position- 8.0 hrs per day)
                  Minimum 5 years as a commercial painter.
                  Must be able to read architectural plans and specifications.
                  Light auto and machinery experience.
                  Competitive wage based on experience and knowledge.
