"Being Punny" Dodge students of all ages actively participate in the Golden Sower Award program. View a project inspired by a book from the K-3 nominee list.	Linkin' to Lincoln We use Skype to link with our distant Dodge volunteers, "The Judge" and "Mrs. N.", affectionately named by Miss Miller's first grade class.

Older students, teaching younger students the strategies in Mancala.	Grand Island Senior High's varsity show choir shared a unique singing and reading performance at Dodge School for National Young Readers Day. The event is featured in this article from the Daily Independent: A New Generation of Readers.

"Money Mania" Blue Zones II This was a district Destination Discovery class taught by two of Dodge's teachers. We invite you to join the challenge by visiting this Blog. Technology used: iWeb	Mrs. Shellie Meyer was awarded a mini grant for her project entitled "Traveling Science". Teachers build Dodge students a Horton's Treehouse in the media center as a fun place to read during the month of March. It had flashlights, nature sounds, log benches, and of course plenty of reading material.	Unexpected Thanks Click the pages through this online book created by Members of the WOW Club. This was the state 2008 Digie Winner in the open category.

Emergency Podcast Digie Finalist 2008 Technology used: VideoCue Pro	Mysterious Proscope by Yazmin Digie Finalist 2008 This Proscope Dodge Collage was created using close-up views of things in the school. It is on display outside the 5th grade room.

Rhyming Research created by students in the first grade classrooms	Hearbeat Music Video The music, lyrics, and sound effects are all original creations of these 5th grade students:Yazmin, Britney, Alexis, & Cassidy. Digies Finalist, K-6 Music

Mrs. Valerie Chmelka was awarded a mini grant for her project entitled "Literacy Bags". Students take turns taking home the themed bags containing children's fiction and nonfiction books, poems and songs, as well as activities and games related to the theme.	"Animal April Fools" View this animated research project by 2nd graders at Dodge.

Author / Illustrator Project! Be the first to view the unveiling of this unique project.	The Medley of Cultures of Cinderella Created by the film crew of the district's elementary musical production. The film crew met at Dodge School, under the direction of Mrs. Brenda Cochran & Mrs. Jan Tell. This is one part of their film shown at The Grand Theatre. It was also a winner in the state digital media contest, K-6 animation category.
