Grand Island Public SchoolsUsing Bose Speakers with Video Projection Devices
The Bose speakers are equipped with two sets of cables.
Set 1 - speaker jack on one end and RCA (red and white) jacks on the other end
Set 2 - RCA (red and white) jacks on both end
The speakers can be used with the video projection devices, however, it may be easier to connect the speakers to either the computer or VCR/DVD player which is attached to the video projection device. Please note the directions below.
Using the Bose speakers with the video projection device and a computer (use set 1)
Plug the computer into the video projection device.
Plug the speaker jack into the speaker port of the computer.
Plug the RCA jack into the corresponding red and white RCA jacks on the Bose speakers.
Note that the sound will be between the computer and speakers.
Using the Bose speakers with the video projection device and a VCR/DVD player (use set 2)
Plug the video tape/DVD player into the video projection device.
Plug the RCA jacks into the corresponding red and white RCA jacks on the VCR/DVD player.
Plug the RCA jacks into the corresponding red and white RCA jacks on the Bose speakers.
Note that the sound will be between the VCR/DVD player and speakers.
