Comic Life

When you create a Comic Life project, there are several different formats you can save or export them in. You can export it as html, Quick Time, iPhoto or save it as a jpeg. Chose your method of "sharing".
If you select html, it will ask you where to save or export it to. I always select Desktop and create a new folder to save all items into.
Once it is saved, quit out of Comic Life. Log on to the web server 204.234.22.1. Use your new log in name and password to mount your school Projects_Building_name sharepoint.
Copy your new folder into your sharepoint.
Log into MODx through Camino
Go to the page you want your project posted on and click Create document here or Edit this Page.
Type in text that you want to become your link. Highlight the text, click on your link editor. You need to create a path to your project, it will look something like this:
http://www.gips.org/Projects_your_school_name/your_folder_name/your_project_name.html
More closely, something like this: http://www.gips.org/Projects_Barr/Test/index.html
Click on Post Changes and test your link.
If you saved your Comic Life project as a jpeg, open Camino, log in to MODx as you normally do.
Locate the page where you want your comic life project
Click on the image icon (tree)
Browse to locate your jpeg and upload into your school image folder
Save changes
