Verbal/Linguistic
Littlest touches objects in the woman’s house to gather "fragments” of positive memories so she can bestow a pleasant dream. Create a concrete or shape poem about an object. Practice the comprehension strategy of visualization. Draw what you think Littlest looks like or one of the other Dream Givers. Some other abstract ideas in Gossamer to visualize are the Heap, a Sinisteed, a Bestowal. Explore which medium (watercolors, oil pastels, charcoal, etc) would be the best to portray your visualization.

Use natural materials like basketweaving reed, grapevine, or jute to weave a dreamcatcher that might help Littlest fight off the Sinisteeds inflicting nightmares. Complete some research to discover which culture created Dreamcatchers and what their beliefs were about them. Write a paragraph with a topic sentence, supporting body sentences that explain and offer details, and a conclusion sentence to relate to a reader your findings about Dreamcatchers.
