Nursing Services

The health services department of the Grand Island Public Schools is dedicated to helping each student attend school in optimum health and to benefit from the school experience.  School personnel, assisted by school nurses, will work to promote in every student the desire to safeguard his or her own health.  Student health services are not to take over the responsibility that belongs to parents.

Parents are encouraged to contact the school nurse when questions or concerns arise related to their child's health or safety.

The school district health services staff promotes the health of students through:
