About the Teacher

Mrs. Lorenzen has been the adviser of the Islander  for the past nine years. She has a Bachelor's of English with an emphasis in writing, a Master's Degree in Science, and a Master's Degree in Creative Writing. Along with overseeing this student-run publication, she teaches sophomore English, CCC English, and Success Strategies.
