Orchestra Boosters Trip

The Senior High Booster Club is currently taking donations for a 2009 trip to Austria. 70 students are planning to participate in this adventure. The trip will cost each student $1,600. Many fundraising activities are in progress to help alleviate the financial burden of this trip. Donations may be made to the Grand Island Education Foundation attn: Orchestra Boosters.

Engleman Playground Project

The Grand Island Education Foundation recently teamed up with the Engleman Elementary PTO to raise funds for a playground. The playground will be located at the new Engleman (old Westridge) location. Current plans include the purchase and set up of the playground in the Fall of 2008. Once complete, the playground will provide an appropriate and safer environment to play for at least 300 school children annually.
