There are differences and similarities between modern schools and 1880 country schools. The similarities between the modern school and the country school are the rules, history and math. We have rules and they had rules.We learn about history and they learned history, too. We do math and they did math but sometimes we do math in groups of 3 or 4.The differences between the modern school and the country school are they only had one teacher and their pens were different. The country school had one class. We have 19 classroom in our school. They did math on little chalkboards and we do math on a paper. I had fun at the country school. I learned a lot about the old days. |
