I am going to tell you some ways schools of 1888 were different than the schools of today. They did not have a roll down map. We have restrooms, but ours are inside and they had theirs outside. We have books but we don't have to pay for ours and they did. They have to stand up on their feet to talk to the teacher. We can just sit down. We have a heat pump but they had a wood-burning stove. They had lanterns and we have electric lights. We have rubber balls and they had a ball from a cow's stomach. I enjoyed my morning at Stuhr Museum. |
