The Pawnee nation was in the middle of Nebraska close to the Platte River. The Pawnee live in Oklahoma today. At the Stuhr Museum, in Grand Island, Nebraska, there is an earth lodge built like the Pawnee people would have made. The Pawnee were very good at hunting and pottery. Religion was an important part of their daily life.
